This is doing my head in! -
Cuhz - 16.02.2014
I asked this question a long, long; long time ago. I still do not know how. How do I make my server so the ip is in letters.
EG: samp.myserver.com
Yes, you need to buy the domain, yes you need a cPannel, blah blah.
I have a domain with cPannel. What do I click on via this link; (
http://prntscr.com/2t2wxi)
PS: Is it able off 1 domain to make multiple redirections? eg: ts.mydomain.com, samp.mydomain.com, ect or would I have to buy a new domain?
A tutorial showing me how or steps would be nice (;
Thanks in advanced.

You need to make an A-record in the domain's DNS settings and point the record to the IP address of the server. So, for example:
samp.example.com would need to point to your server IP (e.x. 123.123.123.123). If the server's port isn't 7777, you'll need to add the port at the end of the URL (i.e. samp.example.com:1234).

What do I click on? Is it any of these for this 'a-record'?

Alright, I found 'a-record', it works for 'ts' but when I try sa-mp, it doesn't?
http://prntscr.com/2t36ml
This is what I'm putting in....
Name: samp.hybrid-gaming.net
IP: 142.0.41.195
For teamspeak I'm putting in the same and it works, for sa-mp would I have to put in :7777 on the end? (baring in mind my server's normal ip has :7777 on the end?)

Try if you're able to connect, if yes, then it's your server.
EDIT: I'm able to connect with it.

Ah right, I can connect also. But in my sa-mp it shows up like this:
http://prntscr.com/2t3jun - does it for you? If yes, any idea on how to fix it?

This is what you have to do. Delete the ip version of your server off the samp client list and add in the one with the domain. It's like a client bug, and then it should work.
