Should I look into 0.3x or 0.3z? -
Gyldenfald - 11.02.2014
Hello SA-MP Forum!
I recently got into SA-MP scripting and developing. However, I've a minor question that I figured you guys could help me with. Should I work with the "old" version (0.3x), or should I work with the newer 0.3z version?

New one is better, even though its on RC.

Alright. How often is 0.3z being updated, and is the updates major? What about includes and plugins (YSI libraries, sscanf2, etc.).

0.3z aren't released yet it's currently in RC still (RC 5).
If you want the 0.3z features you can start script with it.
If you don't need you can still script for 0.3x .
So it doesn't matter, just if you want to use the 0.3z features.

I really like some of the new 0.3z features. However, what about plugins and includes? Are most of them updated for 0.3z?

Plugins that do not hack into memory - which is pretty much all of them - will usually work without problems across versions. Some includes (notably YSI) will need to be updated to accommodate for the new function parameters. This is mostly on account of the one that created the include in the first place, but you can also do it yourself.

Id say 0.3z would be better to get.
