Whats the best way to get players for a server? I mean i post an ad every week gets about 20 players for like 10 minutes but only 2 end up staying mostly, i have a unique Role-Play script, vBulletin forum, ******** ads, everything and still not a good playerbase...

If someone could tell me how i can get more players or maybe help me get more players, i would be so greatful, and i do have a pretty large amount of money in my paypal, if you know what i mean.

Make a awesome script, show it to frinds, keep advertising every 30 days on samp forums.
Also try getting a hosted tab ( most important ) .

Step One: Make a unique script that hasn't been done before (No copies or rip off scripts/idea's)
Step Two: Interact with your small player base, give them rewards for sticking around and even inviting their friends
Step Three: Buy a host list spot
Step Four Don't post forum adds every week because that's naughty

Oh and make the players want to stay/come back (Don't ask how, it's your responsibility to work that out)

I tried getting hosted tab but there sold out... And then Volt Host bidded one for like $56 and im not gonna buy that... I already wasted $65 on a copyright, $300 on vbulletin, and $60+ on the forum/server/teamspeak itself... I just want an easy way to get actual loyal players to have a good server like the one i imagined when i spent all this damn money...

Then you have to ask yourself, what makes this server better than any other server, what would make players want to play my server over the god knows how many other servers

Make an advertisement on the SA:MP forums is a good way to promote your server aswell. If you get someone to do it for you, someone who's got skills in doing that, you're bound to success. If you need an advertisement, hit me up.

Did you even read the first post? He said he always makes advertisements and it gets players but they don't stay. Also servers can only post one add per month, you can't get multiple people to post them for you.

Wait you can get us hosted tab? Because im currently broke until the 28th... I could pay you back then or exchange for Admin perhaps count it as a $15 donation

You see that's the number 1 problem in server REFUND bla bla, Ill give you admin.
That's the way people will see the owner is stupid and just wants popularity...

Ok here let me tell you this You spent what like already $400 as I read in your post,
I have spent hmmmm(let me think) about $50 with that I got hosted tab because Smart Bytes Hosting
offers hosted tab(forgot the price) and in the last month the server player base peak was 150 Player.
I'll give you a list of what you need:
-Hosted Tab
-A good Anti Cheak
-A DECENT staff team(This dosen't include promoting everyone that askes for admin, You only promote people u know)
-You/Owner needs to be the most mature of all.
-You need to keep updating the script daily(Even a line a day is good...)
-You need a good looking website I check your forum and it's took dark makes me just wanna punch my screen...
-You need to add a challenge in the server, Achievements.
-And one of the most important thing is patience!

Oh and NEVER EXPECT TO MAKE A PROFIT FROM THIS!
