VPS Hardware help! -
SuperChock - 26.01.2014
Hello! I'll rent a VPS with the following configuration:
- 2Ghz CPU
- 1GB DDR3 Memory
- 50GB HD
- 2TB Transfer / Month
I wonder how many players this VPS can support ... I intend that my server has
50~75 slots ... however:
- He will not stay full all day
- During the night it will be virtually empty
If this hardware is insufficient, what I need to improve?
Thank you very much ando sorry for my bad English!

Looking at it, it should be quite capable of running with 50 to 75 slots.

Firstly, you don't need
that much configuration.
2GHz CPU? Are you running 500 bots or something?
1GB DDR3 Memory is more than enough, you don't need that much memory (unless you're hosting a web server too, which will take approx. 600 MB memory)
50GB HDD is all right, though you don't need that much space for 1 SA-MP server O.o
2TB Transfer/Month.. well the bigger the better
You can run a seamless 1000 slots server
Other than that, who is 'he'? What's going to happen when the server has no players?
Your config is good, no need to worry.

Considering the monthly transfer limit, in the situations I mentioned (empty at dawn, etc.) you think the above VPS supports many slots without exceeding 2TB?

Sorry about the "HE". In my language (Portuguese) we do not usually differentiate beings of objects as English. We treat a ball as "SHE" for example.
"HE" I referred to the server, in this case I believe I should have used "IT", sorry.
In my language we usually use too many figures of speech, such as "Will" instead of using "I will." This makes it difficult for me some time to do the translation!

You can run a 1000 slots server 0-0

Depending on the configuration you do.
I had bought a 3GB Ram VPS to host some websites on it, and it is using less than 512MB ram.
@OP The configuration is OK for what you need, of course you don't need that much, but having always a little bit more isn't bad, right?
