Trains on one lane only - Rifa4life - 25.01.2014

The question that I've got is quite simple and straight forward. The case is that every time I spawn a train on a railway, it only spawns on one of the lanes and not the other. So say for example I try to make an eastbound train but every single time it spawns, it automatically appears on the westbound track. Are all the trains automatically assigned to one lane or can I choose which lane to spawn the train on?

The railway in question is the mainline, not the hidden bullshit.

I have always found they all run on the same line, and occasionally, as you travel around, will see that it will move between tracks at some points.
