DirectX help. - Shivlxie - 31.12.2013

So... I have a new PC, with Windows 8.1 and an AMD Radeon HD 7850 - DirectX 11. And I get the DirectX9 error on startup, tried installing all sorts of DirectXs, please help!

Yah,DirectX will not work untill Graphics card is installed
Try this website,It may help you to get the exact original Driver for your graphics card

1 install ma-config
2 refresh the page
3 wait for scan
4 scroll down and look for you graphics card driver
5 click it,the download it
6 install it and Enjoy

Have you tried installing the DirectX from the game's installation disk? If yes, can you provide a screenshot of the error you get?

EDIT; Once you install the DirectX from the disk, restart the computer and then run the game.

Set the game compatibility mode to windows xp, see if that works.
