Can't compile - pawnc.dll missing? - Printable Version

Can't compile - pawnc.dll missing? - Da_Noob - 23.12.2013

I've recently started to script again but whenever I want to compile it it throws me an error.
it says pawnc.dll is missing, while it's not.

I tried downloading the newest server package and compiling the basic gamemodes with it, still same error.
I downloaded .NET framework 4.5, still the same error.

What's wrong here?

Download the server package and try again.

from server package copy pawno folder to your pawno folder(where you run pawno.exe)

try downloading the file from dll-files.com and adding it to ur system32 directort (on windows)
NOT RECOMMENDED - but if nothing else works, this is the way to go

NEVER do that. always download from either the author/publisher or trusted mirror sites (listed on the author's page)

I have the original .dll file, it just tells me I don't have it.
I placed it in my system32 folder and it works now.

I think you wasn't running as admin(maybe you put somewhere, where program/user(not admin) cannot read/edit files ?)
