Why does the majority of the new threads include 'REP ++++' or something among those lines? Is that suppose to grab our attention or... ?

Well, obviously, they are newbies. They just want reputation points, to post a server advertsiment. Or just to get some attention.

You are misleading the main head of this thread.
I'd like to ask why are you still actually creating that stupid reputation threads? Why do you even care about those rep topics? Seriously a whole SA-MP community and the only thing you notice is the damn reputation? Get over it!
Anyway, when you see a thread with 'REP ++++' it is obvious that they want your attention to help them. Also ****** is ignoring topics which have to do with reputation, so will you?
Along with them reputation threads another random person under the name Akira297 is trying to get noticed to become not random!

Also the rep 4 rep PMs I get all time is just a pain too...
Re: Reputation? -

Funny thing about this is that most of the guys creating threads like this dont even got enough posts to actually rep+ others.

Nothing can get my attention to rep someone, neither can anyone force me to. If I like a topic/comment, or if the user was helpful in any way, I would be glad to Rep+(It doesn't cost :P), but those who ask "REPAH MEE DUDE PLEZZZZZZ, I GIVE YOU MY REP IF YOU REP ME" - Please, don't waste your typing time, won't happen.

The best way is to ignore those PM's.
Re: Reputation? -
DRUNKY - 06.12.2013
It's up to you to ignore or not.
And it's up to them if they wanna post ''REP+++'' requests.
If they are breaking an offense, *report.

Just thought I'd share this:
It's sad, really. You have ban evading kids like this, who claim that they lost their password (he was actually banned on his main account a few days ago) asking for rep. It's still funny to receive these PM's, even after 2 years of having this system!

known*
Anyway, the main idea is to attract people's attention as they(the forum users of SAMP forums) desire to gain more and more reputation,as more reputation you have, the more "famous" you are and because they want it so much they notice other people's reputation and they want it even harder because they want to have as much as that guy has.
So why not go and help in places where there is potential for gaining some reputation points ?
This includes this thread as well, the question "Reputation?" has taken my attention and I wanted to see what people will write about it and expected for "Rep4Rep" or a question on how to get reputation thread and eventually, disappointed me. (

Thats the same guy that PMed me.
Re: Reputation? -
Hansrutger - 07.12.2013
No one ever PMs me, I must be very unpopular.
But on topic, I think that if people want to put in their threads like: "I'll rep you if you help me" or whatever it's really up to them. But begging for it like the players shown above is something that I can agree would be annoying to see.
