How come does people get to change their server IP to LVDM.YOURDOMAIN.COM:7777 or something similar? Is there a way to do it?

If you have a domain and a web host with CPanel, all you gotta do is go to the Basic DNS Editor then from there you can add a new record.
Under "Add an A record":
Name: server.domainname.com
Address: Your server IP.
