Very interesting project, they basically made everything out of stone and then they convert it with colors and shit, very nice job by them I must say.

Whoa! Unless they did that with converting (wich is pretty hard, i would imagine), that has taken bloody ages!
I am not really a fan of minecraft in any way, but the detail on this map is way off the bounds!
EDIT: Also one thing to note is that the whole landcape is not hand-made, a large amount of worldedit is used with this.

The thread itself seems like it's been going for a year so it is amazing to see that the project is still going. Will be amazing when finished for sure.
