Saw is like.. the most horror film.. you need to have guts to watch this ^_^
If you want comedy mixed with horror, go for Scary Movie franchises.

I personally like [REC]. It's a short horror in Spanish, but it's really good.

@OP: What kind of movies do you like? Fake-reality stuff? Monster stuff? Paranormal?
In any case, try the Silent Hill movies.
