I just bought San Andreas yesterday and I got sa-mp yesterday and yet I have my files downloaded for it but I keep getting the following when I try to join a server....
Runtime Error!
Program ...p\GTASANANDREAS2\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas\gta_.exe
The application has requested the Runtime to be terminated in an unusal way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.
and if you're wondering I bought this from the Rockstar website and I couldn't downgrade it using the one provided by sa-mp so I went to gamecopy world to downgrade it. (It just gives you some files so it's legal because you need the full game to actually make any use of the files.)
If anyone could help that'd be great.
(and also like 1 in five times I get a crash report but it's too long so I won't copy and paste... plus if it's really simple to fix, I'm not great with computers so don't hate me
)

Why couldn't you downgrade it using the one on SA-MP's downloading page? If its in another folder just browse through and get your folder location from there. However, to get rid of the runtime error, I just uninstalled Runtime on my control panel.

It still downgraded eiether way but it was just greyed out completly, it must be because it only downgrades the DVD or CD version for some reason? and that still doesn't work

If you mean what version I have Windows 7. and now I'm just getting crash reports so I think the runtime error is fixed...

Okay, there is sometimes a problem with Windows 7. I got the solution(s).
1st Solution: Go to your GTA San Andreas file location and rename it to GTA San Andreas 2
2nd Solution: Delete gta_sa.set in your GTA San Andreas Documents. Not the one in the program files.

I'm probably really stupid for asking this but... where is gta_sa.set because I don't see it anywhere >.<. and now the runtime issue is back...

Ok I deleted that but the Runtime Error thingy is still coming up
.(I never thought it'd be this hard to get this thing working
but I'll still try to get it working...)
