1GB Memory
1 Core 2ghz
2TB Transfer
can hold a 50 - 100 slot server + MySql + website ?

Personally it is just fine for what you want. If your site and mysql server are heavily used you may get close to the 1 GB ram limit. But depends how you have them configured.
Also is it OpenVZ, Kvm or Xen?

It should be fine. I currently have a 512mb kvm with the same specs and atm it has more power than i need, future mabe not, but you gotta start small, no sense in getting some giant vps or dedi if you don't need it right away.
And just out of curiosity what host are you planning on?
