Hello, I want to know how can I host my SAMP server on my VPS. I bought a VPS today and how can I start my SAMP server on it for 24/7 ? And What programs will I need ? (Putty ? FileZilla ?) ?. Also, Will my server stay on 24/7 if I host it on my newly bought VPS ? [I need a pretty good and kinda simple explanation].
(I know it's a dumb question, but I searched a-lot and some were too complicated and some were not helpful.) Plz help.
ALSO I am running Windows 7. So the solution should be for Windows and also the programs.

1. You can host on a VPS.
2. You would need a SSH client (Putty) and Filezilla is needed if you wanna use SFTP to upload files.

Its a Windows Server? Then running the executable when its all setup should do the trick.

So, What do you mean, Whats executable. I know how to host my server normally like using samp_server.exe and port forwarding I know all that's its simple, BUT I AM new to VPS and these new putty's kinda stuff. So, What's Executable ?

Easier still, don't buy a Windows VPS if you can't use one. You don't need to portforward, but you should allow it through the firewall.

Easier still, don't buy a VPS if you don't have a server admin to manage it.
