Well as for now bumping a thread ain't allowed.
So i was thinking: What if you have a bumping option on your thread (saw this at some forums).
Basically it goes like this:
1. You make a topic.
2. Timer starts (12H/24H).
3. After (12H/24H) you will be able to click "bump".
4. Your topic has been set first of the forum again.

Bumping is really bad manner, and should just be used in really important cases.
A "bump button" would drastically increase usage. If everyone just bumps his topic to keep it on the first page, thread order gets messed up, the most actual threads arent on top of the list anymore, and if people ignore a thread once for a reason, they also will ignore it when it gets bumped. So after all the bumpy threads will block the other ones and people will also reply to the new ones less likely.
