umarmalik - 31.07.2013
Hello Every one,
I am little new in Vps hosting like so, I have a question that I get vps from
www.vps.me and they provide me the Debian 6 64bit with Ipv6, in that vps I uploaded the samp linux server with the help of "VOXrr [Tutorial] SA:MP Server on a Linux Based Server". But I don't know which Ip address I have to add in client. I tried all ips of vps with 7777 port its not working and my server is not shown on the client too. Some one please help me??

Dotnet ? It's Linux buddy.
Anyway, try this:
If your user isn't root then use sudo before any cmd.
Код:
apt-get install lynx -y && lynx cmyip.com
Basically Lynx is a "cli" webbrowser, meaning you can access websites from command line at your vps, this way, when you access "cmyip.com" which is a website that lets you know what your ip is, it will show the external ip of your vps.
Another way to check your external, is by doing this:
It's the ipv4 one.
But I'm curious, how did you upload without knowing the IP? Like a panel of something?

Not everyone's home ISP supports ipv6, so how is he ment to get players?
He needs at least 1 ipv4 address.
