nohup: ignoring input and appending output to `nohup.out' - fahadtariq73 - 21.07.2013
Hello, I own a Linux VPS
So I followed the Linux installing TUT
Everything got downloaded and extracted.
Now when i give command
nohup ./samp03svr&
or
nohup ./samp03svr
I get the following error:
nohup: ignoring input and appending output to `nohup.out'
And my server doesn't starts.

@SsHady: Yeah, because giving people the answer makes them learn from their mistakes!
Stop giving people answers- it's not how someone learns correctly. They need to learn how to do their own research and identify their own problems. This is why kids don't write code and don't run servers- they aren't mature enough to do things for themselves.

Well that's not an error
its obvious it will always come its just ignoring the output coming from server.exe
so just use the correct server.cfg and Run your server using
pawn Code:
nohup ./samp03svr &
press CTRL + C
and check your server will be up!!

CHANGE THE PASSWORD THEN!
Not rocket science to open the server.cfg and change "rcon_password changeme" to "rcon_password mygoddamnpassword"!
Googling would've found you the answer in literally 15 seconds!
