Can I not have 2 gta3s? -
BatmanAndRobin - 06.07.2013
I installed a bunch of modded cars in my gta3 file, and I made a backup of the gta3 file so I would have a clean no mods one. I re-named the modded one "gta3 (Mods)" and named the un-modded one "gta3 (No Mods)" but when I swap the "gta3 (No Mods)" with the "gta3 (Mods)" then start up SA:MP, I instantly crash.
How can I have a way to play SA:MP with mods and no mods, when I want to?

Put the backed up file someplace else, and don't change your original file's name, because then the game won't be able to read it!

Hmm, I will give this a shot.
Can I put the non-modded file on my desktop?

Yeah, you can put it anywhere you want.

I'd create a "backup" folder inside data, and not in desktop

Backup the folder in a different map not in your models or data map.

You can just copy the San Andreas folder to something like "San Andreas Modded", and tell SA-MP to run there.
