Poblems with VPS - toi - 29.06.2013

I have a VPS, use X2Go,
I downloaded sa: mp on a folder named "server"
I extracted all
I set all the permissions in this way "chmod 777 /home/Desktop/Scrivania/server
I created a file start.sh, with all 'inside this code ./samp03svr
Start the document start.sh, the terminal opens and closes immediately.
In file_log.txt not written anything out.
What can I do?

try renaming the folder to samp03svr and then it should be solved I hope.

server_log.txt is not showing any errors?

Did you try 700 on the samp03svr file?

You need to edit your server.cfg file change your password in there

the entire contents of the folder servers have permissions 777, so even samp03svr

Type this command in terminal
chmod +x samp03svr

Use H2go, not putty
@khanz: I wrote that code but will not start, however, the file_log.txt does not write any error
