Good cheap quick cake desert from the microwave - kaisersouse - 17.06.2013

Wife's friend shared this with us. Tried it last night...perfect super-quick "omg i need chocolate" fix.
Get 1 box of chocolate cake mix (powdered)
Get 1 box of Angel Food cake (powdered)
Mix both powders together in a 1 gallon ziplock bag (or equivalent size)
Keep this mix in the bag, it is your base.
To make the cake:
Put 3 tablespoons of cake mix in a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of water, mix, microwave for 1 minute.
Want a bigger serving? Double everything (6 tablepsoons mix, 4 tablespoons water, 2 minutes in microwave).

(plus you aren't needing the eggs/oil like you would if you made it according to the box. so there :P)

No not at all. It sets up well in the last 10 seconds or so. If you leave it in the microwave it will continue to set as well. Probably not a bad idea to let it sit for a couple minutes...since its incredibly hot when you take it out haha.
