Is it Possible To Host your website on a VPS
With a .com domain?
i just got a Un-Managed VPS and i dont know how to get a .com .net Domain on it?

Yes it is. You will need to install per say XAMPP on it.

If you want to use XAMPP, Here is the page for that: http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html

You can also just install the HTTPD server and stuff manually without XAMPP, which is what i usually recommend if your able to set it up. But for beginners, it may be best to use XAMPP.

Of course you can use any httpd such as Apache or nginx, it's very easy to set up and quick to configure one. Also, when you have domain you simply point it to your VPS' IP, that doesn't matter

Yes. Install PHP, MySQL, Apache, a panel to call it a day

You must buy the domain from someone who sells it like http://www.tech-hosts.co.uk/ or http://www.godaddy.com/
