hi guys today i woke up and i seen around 7 bots on my forum posting random stuff etc such as girls tops an all that stuff how can i stop them from going on my forum all together its been doing this for a such a long time so i duno if this is wrong place to post but if it is then please move it. anyways please help me find out thanks alot guys am using vbulletin forums as well.

On Vbulletin there is a section in the Admin CP thingy that requires an API key etc, we used that, can't remember exactly but I can remember it stopped them completely.. Just search around the Admin CP for something like "Anti Spam"

Get KeyCaptcha for your forum, and have activity within 'real-life players' so they won't come.

I had similar problems on one of my SMF forums some years ago. To protect you from spam, you can either use a captcha system such as KeyCaptcha or Recaptcha, or use Akismet. I personally use KeyCaptcha and I'm very happy with it, not a single bot since I have it.

i just installed keycaptcha i had around 40 bots today posting thanks alot man. hopfuly it should stop with using keycaptcha

KeyCaptcha is by far the best anti-spam plugin i've used
