DDos Problem - benjaminjones - 19.05.2013

Hello guys. I got one really big problem.Someone DDosing my server.You may ask how I know that.The server is lagging so much also no-one can connect.I really need to know how can I stop DDosing.Also my server is hosted by Volt-Host.

Pinging the address you have in your signature shows the ping is fine. Check for any errors on your server

If I were you,I'd firewall their IP range. Contact your host to get a log of the connections.

DDoS = Distributed Denial of Service
It's a NETWORK of INFECTED COMPUTERS,NOT SINGLE IP RANGE.

There's nothing you can do about a DDoS attack except to wait till it's over.

You can ask volt host to deny icmp requests but without a lot of work that will stop ping requests to all their games (not just yours) so its unlikely they would do it like we have
