Hosting my gamemode - Printable Version

Hosting my gamemode - Fastrack - 09.05.2013

Hi.

I have got a free host from a website. I can control the server's activity[online/off/restart] from that website.
I have downloaded FileZilla and i have made my home directory - my game mode's Folder.
I can see the files through my FTP server- ftp://127.0.0.1

The thing is ,
1. How do i change the server's default game mode [Grand Larceny] ?
2. What can i do with the files in that FTP server

How about first learning to control a server and then getting the free host, so that you do not waste it? Anyways, feel free to use it. Also, these questions have been answered on the SA-MP wiki's first page, if you notice carefully.
Change the gamemode line to whatever the name of your gamemode script is.

Open server.cfg, edit the Host Name to what you desire.

Simple.

Editing Host name is not my problem. >.<

Edit the gamemode line in server.cfg to the name of the gamemode as saved in the gamemodes folder.

There's no access/way to the default server files section of my host.
