Very weird and unique (rare) type of crash. - Eminem 2ka9 - 30.04.2013

I think the source of the problem is my graphics card itself. It's pretty old and I've heard it may only be linked to this graphics card. Now, this aint my computer, this is my brothers PC and I'm doing him a favor by trying to fix his problem.

Any time I try to load sanandreas singleplayer, everything loads fine, but just when it comes to the Sanandreas logo (Just before the main menu) the game gets a black screen and closes instantly without any error window/log.
Any time I try to load sa-mp, it comes up as the Sanandeas Multiplayer logo and closes after 1.5 seconds.

I have tried for him: Updating all the graphics drivers, putting the game on windows 98/me compatibility mode, adding it to data execution prevention, installing a NO-CD crack, running it as administrator. What else could i possibly try to do to get around this? I just don't know, I believe this issue is unique and quite rare, because it's obvious most people in this day and age have a suitable graphics card to witstand at least Grand theft auto Sanandreas, seen as the game itself is pretty damn ancient.

These are some system info:

Processor: Intel pentium ® Pentium 4 - CPU 2.80Ghz
RAM: 960mb (1024mb - other 64mb is being used on video memory)
Direct x 9.0c
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600)
Graphics Card: SiS 661FX
Approx. Total Memory: 64mb

Weird thing is, the same mysterious crash occurred when I had Windows 2000 awhile ago, I upgraded it recently to Windows XP Professional and the same crash is happening once again.

Well Based on your Computer Performance i would recommend getting a new video card with at lest 128mb of Video Ram and Upgrading Your Computer to at least 1GB or 1.50GB of Ram
and then maybe try running SAMP
