Just wondering what the next encryption will be or if theres any more now whirlpool has vulnerabilities?
mabe these vulnerabilities have been known for ages, ive only just found out

As far as I know, it's almost near impossible to even attempt to crack Whirlpool encryption. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's what I heard / know so far.

Not sure if Whirlpool can be cracked, but like any cryptologist says, nothing is ever uncrackable.

A friend of mine has successfully cracked a few Whirlpool-hashed passwords that we had so it's definitely crack-able.

Adding salts can help - search for that.

EDIT: I used the wrong term. "Cracked" isn't the right way to put this; however, the passwords can easily be run alongside a large database of words/phrases/sequences that have been hashed using Whirlpool. Doing that can give any password the chance to be matched.

it's not "crackable", it just hashed a lot of words stored in a database waiting to be compared to your input and giving you the string which has been hashed before.

I know that, even says on the website. This just shows how easy it is to crack a password/string without salting!

Those websites only use rainbow tables.

It works, I tried it with my password and it cracked it, shit.
