SAMP Forum Advertisement Poll - StuartD - 13.04.2013
Hello Everyone, I am just here to run a quick poll and see if it is actually worth posting the advert. This will provide some stats also for a future advert.!
Happy voting and any opinions on what you think about the question in the poll are welcome.
Please don't advertise your server here though..

Once made a survey (****** Docs) on a server asking the users how they found out about the server. Out of ~550 responses, 2 users found it by finding the server's ad on the SA-MP forums.
Considering that, I can tell you that advertisements on the forums don't really induce much.

Wow.. only 2? This is a sorta shocking thought? As a Advert is what new servers want to boost their players.. and if 2 view? That sorta just reduces the chance the server will grow.. However if they have unique stuff I suppose it probably still will though..

When I look though, I browse the factions.. if they look like an NGG edit then I sorta just move on..

In my new server it brought about 4 new players, at least you get to advertise for free so it's worth it.

I generally only look at the ads of competitors, to see what I myself can improve or build upon.

Generally, people register here on the forums when they either have a client issue or they are interested in scripting. So, the SA:MP forums advertisements really don't do much. Advertising by other means is what gets you the players.
