Advertise on "iTD Version 2" - iPLEOMAX - 04.04.2013

Hello people!

So, the current iTD release has reached a total of over 5000 downloads.
And it's generally used by a lot of scripters.

And some key features of my next release:
1. It will use DirectX to view Tool User Interface (won't use TextDrawSelect anymore).
2. SA-MP 0.3x support (Model preview textdraw editor)
3. Some more features to minimize time consumption.
3. And finally, a user requested feature: Keyboard editing.

Now, my question is:
Would you be interested in purchasing a slot for advertisement banner in my next iTD release?

It will be displayed on a user's screen under the tool menu (360x80 pixels in size)
A total of 10 advertisements scrolling one by one. And it will be clickable to redirect to any URL you want.

The seconds to display is equal to the amount of money you spend on purchasing it multiplied by it's half.
Minimum is 5$ which will show for 5*2.5 = 12.5 seconds. If you pay 20$, it stays for 20 * 10 = 200 seconds and so on...

With your support, I can continue on making free tools and editors. Please reply to this thread if you are interested.

I highly disagree with what you're trying to do here. If you're scripting or making plugins for SA-MP, they must be 100% free.

Selling advertisements even though the script is free is really a bad road to take, especially when everything's already free.

Sure, your work is really good quality but that doesn't mean you should sell ads on it!!

You got the whole thing wrong.

I AM going to release the Tool even if NO ONE has purchased any adv slot.

The tool is and always will be free. It takes a lot of time to make such a tool from scratch.. That's why I appreciate someone helping me in return, but nobody is forced to pay. And people knows it very well that it's free to advertise here on sa-mp forums. But the advertising service I'm offering isn't. So, it's their decision.

I do agree with what you are trying to do here. I hope you roll in some cash, since it's hard work. But won't that mean profiteering from SA-MP? Or am I wrong here?

OK! Now I understand... yes, this is a good idea. It's like a donations for a bit of service, I guess.

I do other services like Graphics, 3D Modelling, Web designing, but those aren't in this forum.

Yes, exactly.

1) The product is completely free.
2) It's the advertising service which isn't.

I don't know what to say about advertising, but how about adding TextDrawTextSize, and the posibility to toggle the HUD? The text size will depend by the textdraw's size.

off topic suggestion - would be cool if you added the ability to test selectable textdraws and also if possible auto-set their size so that they aren't screwed up when hovering over one that's below another.
on topic - seems like a great idea . i hope you do get some money because you do some great work.i at the moment don't have a server/forum to advertise but if i would of had one i would of bought a slot or whatever is it called.
