Blacklisted Players

Must have a reputation of 5+ to get names on the list.
I have seen a post like this, but i decided to make a new one. I dont know about you but my gamemode detects hackers, and just labels them as hackers instead of banning them, After all its only a stunt server and theres so many i just got bored, When my server detects a hacker it automatically write it to my website, http://maximumgaming.co.uk/ucp.php (Must have an account to see this) so heres the hackers my servers caught, which you ban / kick in advance.

EDIT: Will shortly write a little code to ban / kick any player with any of theese names.

[/code]

who knows, they might join other servers with other usernames.
And who names that even the non-hackers use this username, and you ban. But they are innocent.

Names really can't do anything. What if a player named Shadow registered from another country? Shadow is a common name. So with that, false bans may occur. Although IP is much appropriate for this scenario, but as far as I know you're not allowed to post IP addresses of such cases here in the Forums (Correct me if I'm wrong).

Very true, I can easily replace theese names with the IP's but im not sure like you say if this would be allowed.
Il leave this topic to be deleted then.

Good idea. but has to many flaws this method with the names. And i am sure its not allowed to post IPs publicly.

Shame, would of been a hand thing to have i think. Mabe if the admins make it only visible to people with so much rep + can only see it but too much hassling around, leaving this topic to go moldy and for an admin to delete.

No. This isn't going to happen.
