I had my server up for a long time. No attacks no nothing. They added new Dos protection. That keeps its customers safe.

To the OP, don't go off what people suggest you - look at the list, do some research and you'll find answers easily, that will be suitable for you instead.

I reccomend using windexon. Volt is overrated and it's always getting attacked. But it's just my opinion.
