Wow. Nice.
But how to put it in you server?
And do all players need to download a file before they can really see the object?

Thanks!
I've created a similar tutorial a long time ago, but a week ago I decided to create a new one with the help of my colleague.

After you have created the object and added him to the custom.img/.ide you can create it ingame like any other object.
Players must first download your custom.img and custom.ide to see your object ingame.

I like the tutorial, seems great, I think we should see a few SA-MP works with Custom made SA-MP models around the forums.
But why not also contain the stuff that's really needed for creating them? I know it says in the video, but I'll go and post my package anyway.

Thanks!
In the description there are links to all the required programs and tools.
I didn't want to upload everything in one package, as I've heard the author of one of these programs doesn't allow his program to be uploaded anywhere apart from where he uploads it.

I still remember Matite provided a lot of tutorials in his GamerX wiki to teach people how to make an object.
It was pretty sad that the host for that server was changed and everything are cleared.
This is still a good tutorial , although it's in the wrong board.

Well I MIGHT just give it a try, even though it seems quite annoying to make

Hmm, I find it easier to use normal UVW Mapping instead of Unwrap UVW. Much less work involved. Select a texture, apply it to your selection and you're pretty much done.

I fully agree with this, Matite's GamerX Wiki had a lot of useful modelling resources and tutorials, sadly Ez (I think) removed it.
I asked a moderator and he said it's fine if I post this tutorial here.

We find that it's better to get used to Unwrap UVW because you can edit objects that have already been textured with it.

Is it possible to detect this file in the installation folder of the playerid who connects to the player? Or is there any way by which player can download the file on connecting the server.
Good work brother. Rep+4

Yeah, there was so many of them, in:
http://web.archive.org/web/201109271...MP-%28GTASA%29 you can also see the article link made by leong and delux there.
Not all of them still works (the links),
but the article that still loading that i found is only:
http://web.archive.org/web/201108170...s+into+3ds+Max
(didn't mean to advertise)
Btw it was because of the gamerxserver had HDD crash/failure (in 2011) which caused data lost, maybe he don't have the backup.
Anyway, nice work.
EDIT: probably a lie? there is no purpose on deleting that article, i'm the server admin there, there was really a server HDD crash, our player data, and server stuff, including database, web, forum, wiki, irc, teamspeak, etc, lost too, it was by accident as far i know, not many of them were able to be restored, Ez just backed up some of them not all stuff (ofc there are so many things), like player database and it's also made player got the old stats.

As far as I know this is not possible. Either your players can download files from your website or you could code a program that would download and update custom objects for players automatically(Matite created something similar for GamerX a long time ago).
