Hi guys when i just got my pc I got like 114 fps and now i only have 18? How did this happen

Thousands of possible reason, maybe give more detail about your pc than just the fps.

Well it's an Acer Aspire (Not the laptop) it has got 6 gigs of ram and 1tb storage. I play mc on normal rd and smooth lightning on and im sure its not the amount of entities ingame

Maybe something is eating up resources in the background? Check your CPU usage on idle, it probably shouldn't be over 15%.
Minecraft is quite a CPU-hungry game.

powersave mode in mc sets fpslimit to 40, nothing else, as far as I know

Stop the useless processes(maybe some viruses or program updates) and the ones that are using too much CPU.

Yep but windows got its own power saving in the system config, especially for laptops. This reduces the performance when running on battery, sometimes even when its powered.
