Model preview menu suggestion - Dr.Einstein - 18.01.2013

At this point, you can use model preview menu for many things. But it would be cool, and necessary at some point to have a tag under each item. Well we can do that with textdraws, but it wouldn't be too convenient, screen sizes etc.. A 30-charachter tag would really work.
EG: A shop, where you need to see the prices of the weapons, vehicles, furniture etc...

I really wanted to 'caption' my admin system, but it would have too inconvienient to create separate textdraws!
There should be a parameter like 'caption.' I really support this!

creating another textdraw works fine doesnt it?

Re: Model preview menu suggestion - ReneG - 18.01.2013

Seeing as the model preview menu box is hard coded into sa-mp, I agree. For now, you can just open up a dialog box according to which box the player clicked on.

Since some people would not like to have a tag under each preview, you will probably have to make those captions yourself with an additional textdraw. If a caption was hardcoded into SA-MP, it would probably be the same principle: Just an additional textdraw.

I will add more features to my mSelection include in a few days.

Most likely something like text caption for models will be included

For textdraws the resolution always is 640x480, so it will look quite the same for any screen resolution.
