Running GTA from school ? -
denNorske - 17.01.2013
Hello all!
I am using my computer both on school and at home. And i am not able to play samp from my school network, because i need to define a proxy address in order to make it work.
I am sometimes staying quite a long time on school with pauses up to 2 hours. In that break, i want to be able to go online and check my server.
So, is there any tool to define a proxy for SA-MP ? I would need an answer if you know any tools i could try.
NOTE: I will have to define a proxy user and password in order to be able to connect.
Thanks alot for your attention, and i am hoping there is something out there for my issue

Not that way. When i am on school 2 days in a row, it could be nice to step inside the server i am managing, and to be able to check if commands i am making work. The developing i am doing now is going pretty slow.
And no, i am not that addicted, but i like the game, yes. xD (i know what you mean by reading my post xD)

There's a thing called developing, testing, and implementing. You don't develop, then implement w/o testing for that particular reason.
You are at school for a reason, to learn. So, learn.

Did you even read my topic dude? I am rarely doing schoolwork when i am going to play games, doesn't that sound fair? I am staying on my school for a long period of time each time, sometimes i am sleeping over on the hosting that the school got. So, thanks for your "learning post", but i am already aware of that thankyou.
This is my decision anyways. Does anyone know a program, addon or a tool to connect through a proxy on my school?

Odds are your school won't allow you to D/L a proxy program. You will have to do it from home, put it on a flash drive, then put it on the computer from your flash drive. Just ****** search "running SA:MP through a proxy" and I'm sure something is going to come up.

Odds are that your school has good enough systems to prevent you from playing the game there. I know mine does. A laptop/computer of your own would allow you to play at school, assuming you have access to the network (like I do at my school).

My university techs are practically dumb. They set up a Windows firewall without any resisted access... LOL
