SA-MP or GTA:SA not starting. - SaW - 25.12.2012

Hiya, I've tried pretty much everything I remember to get it working.
I'm running GTA:SA and SA-MP on compability mode (Windows 98/ME) and as administrator and I don't have gta_sa.set anywhere.

It just won't start, the client starts but it won't start the game. Singleplayer isn't starting either.
What could be the problem?

Try with re-install sa-mp and gta.

GTA:SA is not supportable with 98, and i think ME too.

What?

I've tried it all now, currently downloading new drivers to see if it helps.

GTA San Andreas should work on Windows 98 with 512 MB of memory or 1 GB, but be warned, Windows 98/Me will not start if you have more than 1 GB of memory without a RAM Limitation Patch. Without paying $20 to fix this bug, there is no fix available to the memory limitation for any MS-DOS-based version of Windows. The reason is explained in this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304943

Technically speaking the compatibility troubleshoot should of have fixed your problem, leading me to believe you in possession of a fault / recently corrupted copy of GTA SA - Don't fear however, there are several means you can obtain the game once more > I would supply you with a link - But it's against SA-MP policy to share pirate games.
