i just got this for my Mac. do i need to download SA for the windows, or can i use the mac version in parallels? im confused how this works

You are booted into Windows, aren't you? If yes, then the Windows one.
You can't run sa:mp in osx anyways

well i just got parallels. windows 8 is downloading now as we speak. so i need to download SA for PC thru parallels?

edit: i have steam with SA for mac, if that helps

Better buy the game, ffs.
But yea, you need the windows version of san andreas. Only sad thing is, that the steam version is not compitable with sa:mp, you'll need san andreas version 1 or 2.

so once i get the pc version to windows screen, just download samp and it should work?

SA-MP only runs on Windows for the Windows version of GTA: SA. As long as you have that, it will work in Parallels.
