hey im using hostspree for my server but when I try to upload the gm i get an error. so I sent in a ticket and a admin said "Please try uploading gamemodes and plugins via FTP"

FTP means 'File Transfer Protocol', you can download a client like FileZilla and connect to the FTP server, then simply drag the files over.
