I created this group for players, developers and so on. You can join it here http://steamcommunity.com/groups/sa-mpplayers . I think it's nice to be on a platform like Steam and it's also good for the community. Have fun!

Does it really matter to you if the official SA-MP Steam group isn't updated regularly? It sure doesn't matter to me.
The Steam group is not for updates about the mod, SA-MP has a website and a forum for that purpose. It's a Steam group, the purpose is to group together and find our SA-MP friends, play games together, chat and just be a part of the group itself.
It is the official one, so I'm going to stick with that rather than some random one that a random person I've never heard of made.
And it's already got one server advertisement there, how do I know it's not going to be spam with useless RP edits whose owners can't advertise on the SA-MP forum because they make posts begging for rep in order to do so?
No offence intended by my post, I just don't see why anyone would join this group when we already have an OFFICIAL one.
