Stuck on "Connected. Joining the game..." - cosbraa - 09.12.2012

I join a server I regularly play on, which I was on yesterday, but today I connected and it has the "Connected. Joining the game..." message, but does not connect.

Ideas?

1.Is your net on?
2.Hope you are not timing out?
3.Is the client and server version the same?

reinstall GTA in a different directory

Before you do anything, did you ask if the server is online; if others can connect on it?

it's bug of the server, CPU went over too high so no one can join the game. Simply, contact the server scripter to fix this problem.

some times it happens to me when my ping is high but it doesn't stuck it just takes a long time to join
