Title says it all.
I want to make my home host public,not gonna use it "very public" just going to use it to test the script with someone.

Do you want to put it online or not?
If No:Simply download the samp public server from main page.
If yes:You've to portforward your ip address.

Open with notepad the file named "server.cfg" and search there the next line :

Open a UDP port and Lanmode should be 0

Add to favorites IP you see on whatismyip.com, if it's online, it means it's public.

you may also want to consider a managed DNS like no-ip.com if you are running a home box
that way you could have
xyzcoolserver.no-ip.org:7777

1) Make sure you port forward
2) get your IP, add It to the SA:MP List.
