Crash on start-up (Win8) - 3ventic - 10.11.2012

After I installed windows 8, my samp has been crashing on start-up. Usually it crashes after loading screens, but sometimes right away when it starts the splash art. No mods installed (Steam verified content + 1.0 exe there).

It worked perfectly fine in win7. Tried compatibility settings, running as administrator, re-installing samp. Nothing helped.

Hmm, I used to have the same problem after re-installed my windows. As far as I remember, I fixed that by copying/pasting the Rockstar's folder and then re-naming the folder to 'GTA San Andreas2'. Then run samp.exe and locate it to the folder you made.
