Timing out all the time - Jochemd - 07.11.2012

Hello,

This is a problem I've been camping with for some weeks now. When I connect to a server (no matter which server), I WILL timeout; either soon after connect, or a longer time. It's extremely annoying I am timing out all the time (I just lose connection).

Is there anyone else with this problem? It only happens to me in the server I usually play.

SA-MP Version
SA-MP 0.3e R2

Windows Version
Windows 8 Build 9200 (RTM and legal)

Video card type
nVidia GeForce GT 550m

No mods.

Well... If your " Camping " you must have a weak connection, If you think you don't. Reinstall SA:MP.. beacuse that doesn't happen with me.

It's not my connection. It also happens when I am on another network. I already reinstalled SA-MP and GTA and renamed the folder.

Btw, I didn't say I was camping, just I have been camping with this problem.

I would appreciate if some programmer or someone who is experienced in networking could help me with this problem.

If not already, use cabled Internet. Wireless protocol has too much overhead. WPA key and a bunch of other checks are sent with each packet.

I fixed it, uninstalled AVG and fixed.
