Licenses! - Glint - 01.11.2012
Hello guys as i read in the discussion section licensing your work is very important but,
for a GM what type of license should i get that is compatible with other licenses,
and how do i get and use that license, sorry i am a total newbie to the licensing world,
but as i see ****** states that it is really important to license your work, so i want to license mine,
but have no idea how.
Any help is appreciated, Thanks in advance.

I use the Mozilla license for mine. It's simple and allows for a bit of leaway.
http://mozilla.org/MPL/2.0/

You don't need to set anything up, you just add a footnote 'Licensed under MPL 2.0"

This Source Code Form is subject to the terms of the Mozilla Public License, v. 2.0. If a copy of the MPL was not distributed with this file, You can obtain one at http://mozilla.org/MPL/2.0/.
From the mozilla website, you just needed to scroll down.

I use GPL or LGPL for most open source codes. Fair conditions, and you just need to add the license header to the code.
For private stuff? Well, no license as I dont release them. Didnt release much closed-source stuff yet.
