In Server Advertisements, I saw most of the listings saying stuffs like Refunding and Factions and stuffs..can anyone please tell me what these are?

Faction:

1. A small, organized, dissenting group within a larger one, esp. in politics.
2. A literary and cinematic genre in which real events are used as a basis for a fictional narrative or dramatization.

For example, one server might have a fire and rescue faction, and those players in the faction RP fire people etc.
