I started my server but the IP:PORT doesnt respond - Pasa - 23.10.2012

Hi guys, i try to start a samp server on a linux machine, i successfully startet a server on a port "7777" but when i try to start a server with another port in puty says: "Started server on port: 7778, with maxplayers: 50 lanmode is OFF." but when i insert the IP:PORT(7778 ) the server doesnt respond!

PS: i have seached ****** 10 days, ******* i wached all tutorials "how to inser/install samp server on a linux"

you sure the server is booted up? also the server log will tell you why it crashed or why it ant starting up

Dont forget to run it as a back ground process or else if you close your SSH client the server will shutdown
