Only problem is Maps, and ******'s mobile web version is pretty awful too.

ios 6 is the first version that actually allows the user to decide if apps can access personal data. Earlier versions just give everything full access to everything, means apps can track your position, copy your phonebook etc without you even noticing that. So apple needed just 5 years to fix one of the biggest security leaks of all times.
