Some help question about DayZ - justsomeguy - 13.09.2012

As DayZ is not related to sa-mp in any way I figured this section should be the proper place to post this.

I recently bought ArmA 2 Combined Operations in order to play DayZ.
However, it seems that my Windows is disallowing the patch to install.
I do get the box asking for permission to do sow, yet it does not seem to work.
Everytime I start up DayZ Commander and go to 'Install/update' it will say my ArmA 2 version is wrong, even after I pressed update and 'installed' the patch.

When I try to launch a server I get the message "Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA_Dubbing_Counterattack'.
And therefor I cannot join a single server.

I searched around and found that others have the same problem as I do, but they all simply got sugested to use the update patch, wich does not work for me.

Does anyone know a sollution for this problem, because otherwise I just wasted Ђ25,- on nothing..

Try to use Six Launcher and not DayZ Commander. And you didn't waste $25, you can still play Arma 2.

Download the latest beta patch for Arma 2 ftp://downloads.bistudio.com/arma2.c...uild_96895.zip

Six Launcher is better than DayZ Commander as lolumadd_ said if you still having troubles PM me.

I have that one too, but once upon 'updating', the error simply stays..
