Port Forwarding -
Justin Reif - 26.08.2012
Hey guys,
can someone help me?
I logged on to my router [Aztech] cPanel. I portforwarded my server. But when my friends attempt to add the server to their favourites, they just fail. Really need your help.
If I did something wrong, please tell me what i should really do. I have a Aztech router.

Please chech if you are not using a double firewall. For example:
At home we have a modem running a network, with DHCP and firewall. In that network is a router with its own DHCP and firewall. In that case you have to forward the modem to the router and the router to your pc.

Are you giving them your public ip? You can find your public ip here:
http://www.myip.nl/
and here you can chech if the server is online:

If you have such a setup, it is possible the two routers have their own firewall. You nee to forward on both to make it work
