not sure where this belongs..
Anyway, is it possible for someone using something other than "/rcon" or "rcon.exe" to login to a server's RCON without a message appearing in the server log?

Are you sure? In PHP there is an echo line to tell that you have connected, couldn't that line just be deleted, and then silently login to RCON?

Maybe that echo line tells YOU that you have connected successfully, but it doesnt send the message to their server's console? Which means if you are going to delete the line, it wont tell you wether have you connected or not.

My friend uses it, upon connecting it says "Web RCON connected." or something like that..
I was just wondering if it was possible to silently login, as there have been alot of brute force attacks lately.

Not actively, for security theres always a console output.
