I need your opinion here guys... TV buying - Haydn - 24.07.2012

Well, as some of you know, my family and I recently moved to England. (we have been living with my granddad until we get a house) We have found a house perfect for us and we will probably get it. We need a TV. My mum is extremely picky on what TV she wants. A white LED TV within Ј200-Ј300. I have found these two..

Now, the LG is bigger but doesn't have smart capabilities. That means if we did get that TV, we would probably end up getting something like this. It would be hidden away so the colour doesn't really matter. What is the best to get? Also, if you can, can you find a better deal? Thank you guys.

My opinion is get the latest TV. The newer the better but that's just my opinion.

All I have to say is don't get a 26", that's so small for a living room TV! :P

Samsung is better. This brand is well known for their resolution.

Suggesting giant screen sizes without even knowing how big the room is is just pointless. Too big screens will be extremely annoying to watch. People lived with 30" CRT TVs for years, why does the upcoming of flatscreens force everyone to buy ridiculously giant screens?
